Our client, who is an international leader in airport baggage handling systems, is expanding in the North American market. As the driving force behind our client’s airport business expansion, you'll be the bridge between our client and the aviation industry's top players. Picture yourself forging powerful partnerships with airports, airlines, contractors, and consultants. Our client has already secured multiple high profile and large projects and you will be instrumental in solving technical challenges as it relates to testing and commissioning.
The Test Manager will preside over the test strategy, planning, and execution for our client’s baggage handling system project. They will be responsible for determining what tests may be needed and the sequence and work closely with the customer and seek their buy-in on the strategy. Will oversee the functional, system, and integration testing to include how the BHS integrated with screening equipment such as EDS and CBIS. Testing will include mechanical, electrical, and both high level and low level controls. Travel is expected to be around 25% during the initial planning stage and will increase to 50-60% once onsite commissioning commences.
The Test and Commissioning Manager is in charge to conduct all commissioning activities on site. They will report to the Project Director. The Commissioning manager will manage commissioning resources and program of work.
