Android Security Project Manager – San Jose, CA – Bothell, WA – Austin, TX

Overview
Our client is a leading cybersecurity threat detection and response services organization who is transforming SecOps with AI, automation, and analytics. Due to their continued growth and expansions, they are looking to add a Technical Project Manager for their Android Reverse Engineering projects with their clients for the western half of the United States.  
  
This individual manages the day-to-day activities of multiple workflow projects such as Incident Response, Reverse Engineering, Vulnerability Assessment, incoming escalation, etc.
They will ensure there are enough and the right resources for the project they oversee and provide insight to their clients and generate reports/dashboards based on the completed analytics.
  
Their Spec:
We're seeking a talented Android Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate critical initiatives within our Android Reverse Engineering Team. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of incident management, security operations, and investigations.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, workflows, and service deliveries of varying complexity.
• Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics to optimize team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to resolve high-visibility incidents and ensure client satisfaction.
• Team Leadership: Guide and motivate the team to meet delivery expectations and maintain high-quality standards.
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, both technical and non-technical, to leadership and clients.
• Process Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Security Operations: Contribute to security operations and investigations, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

  
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in a technical discipline along with 3-5 years' experience in incident management, program management, consulting, or related areas. Advanced certifications in cybersecurity or related fields is a plus.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of Android security architecture, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
• Understanding of security tools and technologies (e.g., vulnerability scanners, reverse engineering tools/techniques, penetration testing tools)
• Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP Mobile Security Project, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Big Query)
• Google Suite of tools (e.g., Sheets, Docs, Slides)
• Security operations, incident response or digital forensics experience
• Experience with automating processes
• Research on threats such as APT using Open-Source Intelligence (Virus Total, Web, Exploit DB, MITRE, etc.)
