We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and support delivery across security-sensitive and compliance-driven environments.

About the Role
Working as part of our delivery team, you will support cyber security operations across Federal Government environments, contributing to the protection of systems, data, and infrastructure.
This role requires a strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, risk management practices, and the ability to operate within structured government environments.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and respond to cyber security threats and incidents
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk identification
• Support implementation of security controls and frameworks
• Assist with incident response and remediation activities
• Work within Federal Government security and compliance frameworks
• Contribute to the development and improvement of security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure system design and operation
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats and mitigation strategies

About You

• Demonstrated experience in cyber security analysis or information security roles
• Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks and best practices
• Experience working within Federal Government or security-sensitive environments (desirable)
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISM, NIST, or ISO 27001
• Experience with security tools, monitoring systems, or SIEM platforms
• Understanding of risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary
$90,000 - $150,000 per annum plus superannuation (dependent on experience)
