Key duties and responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational support for Red Hat OpenStack and Ceph clusters in a production environment.
Automate routine maintenance, upgrade, and deployment activities using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash.
Identify areas for improvement and independently deliver platform enhancements.
Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation to support operational continuity.
Transfer technical knowledge to permanent staff through structured handovers and collaboration
Participate in planning, task prioritisation, and team-level technical discussions.
Essential criteria
Demonstrated experience in deploying, administering, and supporting large-scale on-premises Red Hat OpenStack environments.
Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash. Familiarity with source control systems, particularly Git, and modern development workflows.
Desirable criteria
Experience in the design, deployment, and support of large-scale Red Hat Ceph storage clusters.
Experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes administration in an on-premises enterprise environment.
Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-grade physical hardware and networking used in cloud infrastructure platforms.
