Our client is a leading national law-firm looking for a mid level Associate or Senior Associate with at least 3 years’ post-admission experience to join their high-performing, friendly, and innovative Employment team in Sydney.
 
The Team:

Their Employment and Workplace team advises a broad range of employer clients, from large private sector companies across diverse industries to local, State, and Commonwealth government departments. You will work alongside experienced employment lawyers on complex and varied matters, including employment, workplace relations, discrimination, and work health & safety law. The work combines advisory and litigious matters, ensuring you have a dynamic and engaging practice.

As a mid to senior member of the team, you will enjoy significant client contact, work autonomously, and play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the firm and contribute to shaping the team’s strategic direction.

Requirements: 

• 3+ years’ post admission experience, ideally in private practice employment and industrial law
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and the ability to deliver practical, business-focused solutions
• Exhibit excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills
• Be self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage competing priorities
• Have strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines efficiently
