Stafflink Workforce Management is a Queensland-based recruitment specialist providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions across a wide range of blue- and white-collar industries.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic on behalf of our client for a permanent, full-time opportunity on the Northern Gold Coast.

This role involves servicing, repairing and diagnosing faults across a fleet of mobile plant and heavy vehicles including loaders, excavators, trucks, and associated equipment. You’ll join a supportive workshop environment focused on safety, reliability, and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, and repair mobile plant and heavy vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs
• Order and fit parts and liaise with contractors as required
• Complete maintenance records using Donesafe
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor and fleet team
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture

About You

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)
• Experience working on heavy plant and mobile equipment
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong safety focus and practical, hands-on approach
• Reliable, proactive, and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Basic computer skills (training provided)
