The Incident Operations Specialist will be responsible for the active oversight of a portfolio of operational incidents and breaches across Member Operations, including those managed by third-party service providers.

Duration: 2 months 
Location: Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney. 
                (1-2 days in the office).

Must Have:

• Demonstrated incident remediation experience in a financial services or regulated environment.
• Superannuation industry knowledge — understanding of Fund operations, member impact assessment and regulatory expectations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including at leadership level.
• 5+ years in financial services or a regulated operations environment, with direct incident management experience. 
  
  

Core Responsibilities: 

• Incident oversight & management — Active oversight of operational incidents and breaches across Member Operations; ensure accurate recording, monitoring, resolution and reporting through the Fund's GRC systems. 
• Root cause & remediation — Assess incident severity, member impact and risk exposure; review and approve remediation approaches; conduct systemic reviews to prevent recurrence.
• Stakeholder oversight — Manage internal and external stakeholders to drive timely remediation and ensure accountability to agreed outcomes and regulatory expectations.
• Reporting & control uplift — Support Operations leadership through clear reporting and escalation; identify control gaps and drive process improvements to strengthen operational resilience.
