19th March, 2026
About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Unit Pricing Remediation Specialist for our client. In this hands-on analytical role, you will investigate unit pricing issues, assess member impact and drive the resolution of identified discrepancies. Working within an established remediation program, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to deliver accurate, well-documented, and compliant outcomes for affected members.
Analyse unit pricing discrepancies, calculation errors, and reconciliation breaks to identify root causes and determine the scope of member impact.
Interrogate large and complex datasets to quantify the financial impact of pricing errors on member accounts, transactions and investment returns.
Validate recalculated member balances and compensation amounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency with agreed remediation methodology.
Document findings clearly and concisely, supporting the development of remediation business requirements and impact assessment papers.
Issue Resolution:
Work with operations, technology, and fund administration teams to investigate and resolve pricing, data and system issues contributing to remediation activity.
Track and manage the progress of individual issues through to resolution, escalating blockers and risks to the program lead as appropriate.
Support the review and correction of member records affected by inaccurate or incomplete data.
Assist in identifying data quality or process gaps that contributed to pricing errors and recommend practical corrective actions.
Reporting & Governance:
Prepare accurate and well-structured analysis outputs, status updates, work cases and issue logs for review by program leads and senior stakeholders.
Ensure all analytical work is auditable, consistently documented and aligned with regulatory and trustee expectations.
Contribute to the maintenance of remediation registers, tracking impacted members and resolution status.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in unit pricing remediation within superannuation required.
Sound understanding of unit pricing concepts including NAV calculations, fee structures, and pricing inputs — sufficient to investigate issues and assess impacts confidently.
Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to work across large datasets to identify discrepancies, validate outputs and clearly present findings.
Experience supporting or contributing to remediation activities, including impact assessment, recalculation, or issue resolution.
Familiarity with unit pricing or fund administration systems and the ability to interrogate data within these platforms.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and present analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently on assigned issues while operating effectively within a broader program team.
If you are an analytical problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a solid grounding in unit pricing and remediation, we'd love to hear from you.
