About the Opportunity:
Doug Thomson Mechanical is looking for a Heavy Diesel Automotive Technician or Mechanic  to join their team. This full-time role is perfect for someone seeking a Monday-to-Friday schedule with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the stunning West Coast lifestyle. Whether you are already a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Technician, or trade-qualified in automotive with relevant experience,   this role offers competitive remuneration tailored to the right person.

For those without a Class 2 to 5 licenses, full training and support will be provided to help you gain these. This is a fantastic opportunity to upskill while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

About You:
You are someone who is motivated, reliable, and ready to bring your skills to the team. To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A qualification in Heavy Diesel Automotive or a relevant auto trade. 
• Broad knowledge of servicing and repairing various vehicle types.
• Confidence using diagnostic tools and scan equipment.
• Basic computer skills for job-related tasks.
• A solid work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A full driver’s license (Class 2–5 desirable, but training will be provided if needed).
