About the Role
St Canice’s is looking for a New Zealand registered, innovative, and enthusiastic teacher. In this role, you’ll engage with learners, support their growth, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Your work will be pivotal in shaping young minds, with a focus on strong, relationship-based pedagogy and commitment to te reo Māori. You could be an experienced teacher looking for a new opportunity, or starting out in your career, in search of a supportive school in which to learn and grow.

About you:
The ideal candidate will have:

• A sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum.
• A great sense of humour and a genuine passion for teaching.
• A commitment to te reo Māori and cultural responsiveness.
• Strong, relationship-based teaching practices.
• A desire to learn, grow, and be part of an energetic team.

Willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
