North Beach Fishing and the Jones Family Farm are excited to announce a newly created opportunity for a capable and tech-savvy Office Administrator to join their team. This role has been established to support the growing demands of the business and bring structure and simplicity to the admin and digital side of day-to-day operations.
Working from the office in Blaketown, you will play a key role supporting both the fishing and farming sides of the business; helping the team stay organised, on top of the books, and up to date with tech systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing payroll using Smartly (easy small team payroll)
• Handling accounts in Xero: invoicing, reconciling, setting up bills
• Organising and advising on admin and software systems
• Writing correspondence such as letters, contracts, and insurance claims
• Liaising with the accountant
• Supporting general admin duties and occasional errands (e.g. vehicle warrants)

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive, efficient person with strong computer and admin skills
• Experience with Xero and general bookkeeping
• Someone who enjoys bringing structure, simplicity, and solutions
• A friendly, down-to-earth communicator who enjoys variety
• A full NZ driver’s licence is an advantage
