Productive Recruitment is proud to be supporting Shantytown Heritage Park near Greymouth to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Cook/Shift Supervisor to join their café team while a valued team member is on maternity leave.
This is a hands-on kitchen role where your love of cooking and delivering exceptional service will shine. From daily café service to catering for functions, events, and school groups, no two days will be the same.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing and delivering high-quality food – from baking and barista duties to hot meals and event catering
• Supporting the Café Manager and stepping up in their absence to lead the kitchen team
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
• Providing excellent customer service to a diverse mix of local and international visitors
• Helping with stock ordering, reducing waste, and contributing to a positive, efficient kitchen environment

What we’re looking for:

• Proven cooking experience
• A flexible, proactive attitude – willing to jump into any task when needed
• Strong organisational skills and a great sense of humour!
• Availability to work rostered shifts across 7 days, including weekends or events
