ABOUT WELLINGTON PHOENIX:
Wellington Phoenix is a professional football club that competes in the Australian A-League competition (Men's and Women's). More than just a football club, the Phoenix is a passionate community built around loyal members, supporters and unforgettable match-day experiences.
 
With continued growth on and off the field, the Club is focused on delivering exceptional fan experiences while growing membership, attendance and commercial performance. To support this ambition, we are seeking an energetic and commercially minded Ticketing & Membership Executive to lead one of the Club's most important supporter-facing functions.
 
ROLE SUMMARY:
As Ticketing & Membership Executive, you will take ownership of Wellington Phoenix's ticketing and membership programmes, leading the end-to-end supporter journey from campaign planning and acquisition through to renewals, retention and match-day delivery.
 
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll combine strategic planning with operational execution, working across ticketing platforms, membership providers, venues, partners and internal teams to deliver seamless experiences that keep fans coming back season after season.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering the annual membership strategy and campaign calendar.
• Growing membership acquisition, renewals, retention and supporter engagement.
• Managing ticketing operations across all home fixtures and special events.
• Building strong relationships with Ticketek and other ticketing and membership partners.
• Analysing sales, attendance and customer data to drive commercial performance.
• Delivering member events, fan engagement initiatives and supporter communications.
• Continuously improving systems, processes and the overall member experience.

 
ABOUT YOU:
You thrive in fast-paced environments where customer experience, commercial outcomes and operational excellence all matter equally. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, solving problems and delivering outstanding experiences while using data and insight to improve performance.
 
Ideally, you will bring:

• Experience in ticketing, membership, CRM or customer experience, ideally within sport, events or entertainment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and external service providers.
• Confidence analysing sales and customer data to inform decision-making.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• A genuine passion for sport and creating memorable fan experiences.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Sport Management, Event Management or a related discipline (is preferred but not essential).
