About the Role:
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Black Foils as Tour Operations Manager, leading the team's operational delivery across the global SailGP circuit. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where no two days are the same requiring precision, adaptability, and the ability to lead under pressure. You'll travel internationally with the team, ensuring seamless execution across the team operation.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all onsite operations across 14 global SailGP events annually.
• Manage team logistics including travel, accommodation, schedules & base operations.
• Act as the central operational lead, coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Oversee Health & Safety and lead crisis management when required.
• Support commercial priorities including partner hosting and activations.
• Manage budgets, suppliers, and local contractors.
• Ensure a high-performance, organised, and professional team environment.

 
About You:
You are a highly organised operator who thrives in high-performance environments and can lead confidently under pressure.
 
You will bring:

• Proven experience in major events, team operations, or logistics
• Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to problem-solve in fast-moving, high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Flexibility to work across global time zones and extensive travel

 
A passion for sport and ideally sailing is highly advantageous.
