ROLE SUMMARY
This is a high-impact commercial leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, leading partnership strategy, and maximising the commercial performance of New Zealand's premier basketball competitions. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of the leagues, developing new revenue streams, elevating partnerships, and unlocking growth across domestic and international markets.
 

• Lead and deliver NBLL's commercial strategy to drive revenue growth
• Secure and manage key partnerships, ensuring strong activation and ROI
• Maximise the commercial value of league assets, events, and media properties
• Build strong relationships with franchises, Basketball NZ, and stakeholders
• Provide commercial leadership and insights to support overall league performance

 
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for a commercially driven leader with a proven track record in partnerships, sponsorship, or revenue generation - ideally within sport, events, or entertainment.
 
You will bring:

• 5-8+ years' experience in commercial, partnerships, or B2B sales
• Proven ability to secure and grow commercial partnerships
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Strategic thinker with a growth mindset
• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills
• Data-driven, with strong analytical capability
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
