ABOUT NORTHERN DISTRICTS CRICKET:
Northern Districts Cricket Association (NDCA) is an Incorporated Society responsible for leading, growing and supporting all forms of cricket within the Northern Districts region. Covering an extensive area of the North Island the NDCA region encompasses six districts: Northland, Counties Manukau, Hamilton, Waikato Valley, Bay of Plenty and Poverty Bay. NDCA aspires to “Connect People and Create Memories” whilst collaborating with their community to create a game for everyone.
Northern Districts Cricket facilitates all levels of the game. With 6 district associations, 512 club and business house teams and 753 secondary and primary school teams, Northern Districts Cricket is helping create a game for everyone.
ROLE SUMMARY:
As Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the leadership of all aspects of Northern District Cricket and for working with the Board to ensure the successful implementation of strategy and policy. You will provide clear and supportive leadership to NDCA staff and oversee the management and development of both the professional and amateur game.
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors and funding partners as well as maximising opportunities for new revenue generation or cost mitigation through appropriate sponsorships, partnerships, and management practices.
You must successfully balance the growth and welfare of the game with excellent commercial nous, financial management, and develop strong and vibrant relationships with the clubs, players, supporters, volunteers, media, commercial partners, New Zealand Cricket, players association and all other stakeholders regionally and nationally.
