We are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler / Laydown Coordinator to join our client’s team on a site-based project in Nullagine, WA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and experienced materials professional with a strong understanding of site logistics, material handling and laydown area coordination.

The Role
As a Material Handler / Laydown Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the safe receipt, storage, movement and distribution of materials across site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and maintaining site laydown areas
• Receiving, checking and organising incoming materials
• Tracking and maintaining accurate material inventories
• Coordinating the movement and delivery of materials around site
• Ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently
• Liaising with site supervisors, trades and logistics teams
• Loading and unloading materials as required
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Ensuring laydown areas remain organised, accessible and compliant with site requirements
• Following all site safety procedures and requirements

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in material handling, laydown coordination, stores or site logistics
• Experience working within mining, construction or heavy industrial environments
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple material movements and priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• A proactive approach to safety and housekeeping
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a site team
• Relevant licences and tickets will be highly regarded
