We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Tradesperson for an upcoming assignment at Gruyere Gold Mine in the Goldfields.

The assignment is scheduled to run from 13 October through to 26 October 2026, offering a solid block of work at $70.00 per hour.

If you have previous mining or site-based maintenance experience, can bring your own basic hand tools, and are ready for your next Goldfields assignment, we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a site-based team to assist with scheduled works at Gruyere Gold Mine.

Depending on the scope of works, duties may include:

• Carrying out site-based maintenance activities
• Assisting with planned works and maintenance requirements
• Using basic hand tools to complete assigned tasks
• Working safely within designated work areas
• Following isolation, permit and lockout procedures
• Completing work in accordance with site standards and procedures
• Working collaboratively with supervisors, trades and other site personnel
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within work areas
• Identifying and reporting hazards or safety concerns
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

What You’ll Need
To be considered for this assignment, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience working within a mining, maintenance or similar site-based environment
• Relevant trade qualifications/tickets for your position
• Ability to supply and bring your own basic hand tools
• FR Hi-Vis workwear – required
• Strong understanding of site safety and isolation procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a site-based team
• Strong reliability and commitment for the full assignment
• Ability to meet all relevant site access and mobilisation requirements

Highly Regarded

• LVL2 Lockholder competency
• Previous Goldfields mining experience
• Previous experience working at Gruyere or similar mine sites
• Strong shutdown and maintenance experience
