We’re partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accounting firm based in Camberwell, known for its collaborative culture, strong leadership and focus on delivering quality outcomes for clients.

With a growing SMSF division, they’re now looking to bring on a SMSF Accountant who’s ready to take ownership of their work and continue developing their technical skillset.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to manage your own work while also gaining exposure to more complex matters and direct client interaction.

• Preparation and completion of SMSFs
• Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet & profit and loss)
• Completion of annual accounts
• Managing jobs from start to finish and meeting client deadlines
• Working directly with clients and building relationships
• Assisting with ATO matters, including audits and negotiations
• Supporting junior team members through mentoring and guidance
• Contributing to complex and ad-hoc assignments

About You

• Experience within SMSF in public practice
• Strong understanding of financial statements and compliance
• Confident managing your own workflow
• Great communication skills with both clients and team members
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
