About the Role
This is a genuine career growth opportunity for someone ready to take the next step. As Superintendent, you'll lead the delivery of geohazard mitigation works on Canada's largest open pit gold mine, working closely with Site Supervisors on the day-to-day planning of crews and equipment in the field, alongside client liaison and progress and budget reporting.

Your key responsibilities:

• Partner with the Project Manager during pre-construction to understand scope, schedule, and budget
• Communicate daily with Site Supervisors, Lead Foremen, and the Project Manager to keep work on track
• Review upcoming work, capturing changes and documentation requirements subcontractors, utility companies, work restrictions, toolbox talks, tickets, and daily logs and ensure schedules are met
• Conduct HSE inspections covering the job site, staff, subcontractors, and the public
• Oversee equipment condition, shop scheduling for repairs, and overall fleet efficiency
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the mine's site leadership team

About You
You're a proven people leader from the mining, civil, or geohazard industry who thrives in a large-scale, safety-critical mine site environment. In return, we offer a planned growth trajectory and a flexible, autonomous environment where your ideas are genuinely valued.

• Demonstrated experience in the mining, civil, or geohazard industry — large open pit experience highly regarded
• Proven leadership as a Superintendent (or ready to step up into the role)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including client and mine operator relationships
• Strong cost and budget tracking capability
