About the Role
We’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and servicing our specialised geotechnical equipment. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside an experienced fitter who will support your development and set you up for success. Prior experience with diesel engines and drill rigs will be highly regarded.
This role also requires flexibility with travel, as you may be away on-site for short stints of 1–2 weeks at a time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and servicing of large geotechnical drilling rigs and mobile construction machinery
- Assist in the coordination and support of contractors on-site
- Apply your mechanical skills to maintain drilling equipment, with previous experience in this area considered a strong advantage
- Be adaptable to travel requirements, supporting projects across different locations as needed
About You You’re a

We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Experience in maintaining and repairing drill rigs
- Ability to confidently read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Background in both mobile and fixed plant equipment (preferred)
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment
