ABOUT CCGT:

For over 40 years, CCGT have been the leading employer of Apprentices and Trainees on the Coast.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be employed by CCGT and will work day-to-day with our host employer in order to receive your on-the-job training in the industry.


ABOUT THE HOST EMPLOYER: 
                                                                                                                      
Located in the rural town of Dubbo, our Host Employer specialises in everything from routine logbook servicing and diagnostics to complex mechanical repairs. They pride themselves on delivering reliable, efficient, and customer-focused solutions to keep vehicles performing at their best.



DESIRED QUALITIES:

• Driver's Licence & Own Vehicle (essential) 
• Eagerness to learn 
• Previous experience tinkering with cars (desired) 
• Genuine enthusiasm for cars and mechanics 
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Team player with effective communication skills

YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Servicing of vehicles
• Assisting the tradesmen
• Warranty and recall repairs
• Minor diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop    

Working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:06pm, with the potential for Saturday
work.

  As part of this Apprenticeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology through OFF the Job Training at TAFE NSW - Dubbo Campus over a period of 48 months.
