Warehouse Operator Trainee | Lisarow, NSW | Full-time | Start ASAP
The OpportunityWant to get hands-on, stay active and learn how a warehouse team keeps products moving? CCGT is looking for Warehouse Operator Trainees to join a local business in Lisarow.
The Host Employer supplies and fits out childcare centres with furniture and resources, helping create learning spaces that are thoughtful, shared and full of joy. No previous warehouse experience is needed. You just need to be reliable, practical and ready to learn.
You will be employed by CCGT and placed with the Host Employer for your day-to-day work. CCGT will support you throughout your traineeship while you complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations.
This is a full-time role, generally working 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required.
What You’ll Actually Be DoingYour first few months will focus on learning warehouse safety, getting familiar with stock, systems and daily routines, and helping the team with general warehouse tasks.
As your skills grow, you’ll start learning how to:
- Receive goods into the warehouse
- Unload containers and deliveries
- Put stock away in the right locations
- Pick and prepare customer orders
- Replenish stock when needed
- Keep warehouse areas clean, safe and organised
- Follow instructions, processes and workplace safety procedures
- Support the team with general warehouse duties
You will not be expected to know everything on day one. The goal is to listen, ask questions and keep improving.

You’ll also receive paid full-time employment, on-the-job training and support from CCGT throughout your traineeship.
After your traineeship, career pathways may include Warehouse Operator, Storeperson, Forklift Operator, Inventory Assistant, Dispatch Assistant, Warehouse Team Leader or Supply Chain Coordinator.
What We’re Looking For This role could suit you if you:
- Enjoy hands-on, active work
- Turn up on time and are ready to learn
- Listen carefully and follow instructions
- Work safely and respect the team around you
- Can work well as part of a team
- Can handle some heavy lifting
- Are willing to complete overtime when required
- Have, or are willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check
- Have a forklift licence, preferred but not essential
- Have reliable transport to get to and from Lisarow
School projects, work experience, sport, volunteering, helping family, organising stock or any hands-on work all count. Include anything that shows you are reliable, practical and willing to learn.
Pay This is a paid, full-time traineeship. Current trainee rates are:
- $11.37 per hour, or approximately $432.30 per week for Year 10 School Leaver
- $12.52 per hour, or approximately $476.00 per week for Year 11 School Leaver
- $14.90 per hour, or approximately $566.20 per week for Year 12 School Leaver
Rates are before tax and based on 38 ordinary hours per week. Your exact rate will depend on the applicable traineeship classification and will be confirmed before an employment offer is made. Superannuation and any applicable overtime, penalty rates and allowances are paid in addition. Once qualified your earning capacity can be up to $150,000
