About the Opportunity
Are you a
3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician ready to take the next step towards trade completion?
CCGT is seeking a motivated apprentice to join a large-scale, professional host employer that maintains critical infrastructure across a variety of sites. This is a great opportunity to continue building your electrical skills in a structured environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.
You will be employed and supported by Central Coast Group Training (CCGT) while continuing your nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician through TAFE NSW Wyong.
This full-time role is suited to someone who has already completed at least two years of electrical apprenticeship training and is ready to gain more hands-on experience across commercial-scale facilities and live work environments.
What You'll Be Doing
Working full-time, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, you will continue developing your electrical trade skills under the guidance of experienced electricians.
Your duties may include:
- Supporting electrical maintenance across large facilities and sites
- Assisting with installation and repair tasks under supervision
- Participating in inspections, upgrades and preventative works
- Troubleshooting electrical systems in live environments
- Applying WHS practices and electrical safety protocols
- Working across commercial-scale infrastructure
- Following site procedures, safety requirements and compliance standards
- Continuing your off-the-job training through TAFE NSW Wyong
This role will give you exposure to advanced, real-world electrical tasks while you work towards completing your trade.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and ready to continue progressing in the electrical industry.
To be considered, you will need:
- Current enrolment in a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Completion of at least 2 years of electrical apprenticeship training
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safe work practices
- Driver’s licence, P-Plates or above
- White Card
- Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Police Check, or willingness to obtain
- COVID-19 and required vaccinations
- Reliability, initiative and good communication skills
- A professional attitude and willingness to keep learning
This opportunity would suit a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice who wants to sharpen their skills, work in a safety-first environment and finish their apprenticeship strong.
