About the role
Role: Apprentice Plasterer (1st, 2nd or 3rd year)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (start from 7:00am)
Location: Central Coast-based + travel to Newcastle and Sydney sites
Training: Certificate III in Wall & Ceiling Lining (paid apprenticeship)
Off-the-job training: 1 day per week at TAFE NSW Newcastle Campus
Start: ASAP
About the Host Employer
Our Host Employer is a Central Coast business specialising in plastering and interior fit-out work, including:
Plasterboard partitions
Suspended ceilings
Fire-rated systems
Wall linings and high-quality finishes
They work across residential and commercial projects and are known for producing great work — and training apprentices properly with real on-the-tools experience.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll learn and support the team with:
Installing plasterboard partitions and wall linings
Assisting with suspended ceilings and acoustic systems
Working on fire-rated and composite wall systems
Applying plaster and finishing surfaces
Helping with site setup, clean-up and general labouring
Travelling to job sites across the Coast, Newcastle and Sydney
About you
Must-have:
Driver’s licence + own vehicle
White Card
Physically fit and ready for hands-on work
You’ll suit this if you:
Are reliable (turn up, communicate, get it done)
Have a positive attitude and want to learn
Work well as part of a team
