About the role

• Role: Apprentice Plasterer (1st, 2nd or 3rd year)
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (start from 7:00am)
• Location: Central Coast-based + travel to Newcastle and Sydney sites
• Training: Certificate III in Wall & Ceiling Lining (paid apprenticeship)
• Off-the-job training: 1 day per week at TAFE NSW Newcastle Campus
• Start: ASAP

Our Host Employer is a Central Coast business specialising in plastering and interior fit-out work, including:

• Plasterboard partitions
• Suspended ceilings
• Fire-rated systems
• Wall linings and high-quality finishes

They work across residential and commercial projects and are known for producing great work — and training apprentices properly with real on-the-tools experience.



You’ll learn and support the team with:

• Installing plasterboard partitions and wall linings
• Assisting with suspended ceilings and acoustic systems
• Working on fire-rated and composite wall systems
• Applying plaster and finishing surfaces
• Helping with site setup, clean-up and general labouring
• Travelling to job sites across the Coast, Newcastle and Sydney

Must-have:

• Driver’s licence + own vehicle
• White Card
• Physically fit and ready for hands-on work

• Have a positive attitude and want to learn
• Work well as part of a team

• Earn while you learn in a full-time apprenticeship
• Get experience across a variety of construction and fit-out projects
• Learn from an experienced team and build real trade skills
• Strong long-term career pathway in the construction industry
• Opportunity to move into full-time trade work after completion (where available)
