Throughout your traineeship, you’ll be employed by CCGT and work day-to-day with one of our trusted host employers to receive on-the-job training in the industry. We'll support you every step of the way while you learn, earn and grow.
ABOUT THE HOST EMPLOYER
Our Host Employer has been proudly nurturing and educating children in the Mangrove Mountain and surrounding districts since 1983. Set in a beautiful rural location surrounded by bushland, the Centre offers a warm, vibrant and supportive environment where outdoor play, creativity and strong family connections are at the heart of everything they do.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join a dedicated and friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a caring, community-focused Centre while completing your nationally recognised qualification. You’ll be supported by experienced educators who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of early childhood professionals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Engaging with children in fun and educational play experiences
- Assisting with creative, musical and movement-based activities
- Supporting children during mealtimes, rest periods and daily routines
- Helping maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
- Working collaboratively with qualified educators and contributing to the Centre’s positive philosophy

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- A passion for shaping little minds
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport (due to rural location)
As part of this traineeship, you’ll be paid to study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through on the job training over an 18-month period — combining hands-on experience with formal study.
