Our Host Employer is a community-focused hospitality venue located in Kahibah, well known for their welcoming atmosphere, quality food, and strong local reputation. With a busy bistro kitchen and supportive team culture, they’re now looking for a passionate 1st/2nd Year Apprentice Chef to join the team and kickstart their career in commercial cookery.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED...
- A genuine interest in food and hospitality
- Willingness to learn and follow kitchen procedures
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team and take direction
- Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...
Working full-time on a rotating roster (including weekends and evenings), your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with food prep
- Cooking and plating meals to order
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Assisting chefs during busy service periods
As part of this apprenticeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery through off-the-job training over a period of 3–4 years at TAFE NSW - Hamilton Campus
