Our Host Employer is a well-established outdoor power equipment business based in Morisset, with more than 30 years of trusted service in the sales, servicing and repair of ride-on mowers, brushcutters, chainsaws and more. Known for their hands-on support and strong customer reputation, they’re now on the hunt for a Trainee Outdoor Power Equipment Technician to join their friendly and experienced team.
If you’re mechanically minded, enjoy hands-on work and are ready to get stuck in, this is the perfect role to launch your career.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED...
- A passion for hands-on or mechanical work
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a workshop setting
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
- Driver’s licence (P-plates or above preferred)
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...
Working full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Servicing and repairing outdoor power equipment
- Troubleshooting issues with mowers, brushcutters, chainsaws and more
- Supporting workshop cleanliness and WHS procedures
- Working alongside qualified technicians
- Completing on-the-job training and technical learning modules
As part of this traineeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate III in Outdoor Power Equipment Technology through off-the-job training at TAFE NSW – Mt Druitt Campus, over a period of 36 months.
