Throughout your traineeship, you will be employed by CCGT and will work day-to-day with our host employer to receive your on-the-job training in the industry.

Our host employer has been proudly nurturing and educating children in the Mangrove Mountain and surrounding districts since 1983. Set in a stunning rural location surrounded by bushland, the Centre provides a warm, vibrant, and supportive environment where outdoor play, creativity, and strong family connections are at the heart of everything they do.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated and friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a caring, community-focused Centre while completing your nationally recognised qualification. You’ll be supported every step of the way by experienced educators who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of early childhood professionals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Engaging with children in fun and educational play experiences
- Assisting with creative, musical, and movement-based activities
- Supporting children during mealtimes, rest periods, and daily routines
- Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Working collaboratively with qualified educators and contributing to the Centre’s positive philosophy
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- Team players who show initiative and a positive attitude
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
- National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain
- Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (due to rural location)
As part of this traineeship, you’ll be paid to study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through ECTARC (Early Childhood Training and Professional Development) over an 18-month period — combining hands-on learning with professional training
