As a Plastering Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable skills and real-world experience.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be employed by CCGT and will work day-to-day with our host employer in order to receive your on-the-job training in the industry.

ABOUT THE HOST EMPLOYER:
Our Host Employer is a well-established plastering business that prides themselves on delivering high-quality plastering services, primarily specialising in custom residential projects.
They take pride in their commitment to excellence and are seeking a motivated and eager individual to join their team as an Apprentice Plasterer.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and practice various plastering techniques with a focus on developing your skills
- Working to deadlines and maintain a high standard of work
- Keep tools & equipment in good condition
- Follow safety guidelines and keep your workspace clean and organised
- Assist experienced plasterers with surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and taping walls and ceilings
- Help with the precise installation of plaster materials on walls and ceilings
DESIRED QUALITIES:
- Licence and own vehicle
- White card
- The ability to complete work that requires a high level of manual handling
- A strong work ethic & a desire to learn the plastering trade
- A high level of attention to detail
- A positive and friendly attitude
- A willingness to adhere to safety guidelines & regulations
Working full-time Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm being 40 hours + RDO's.
As part of this Apprenticeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining through on the job training over a period of 48 months.
