Project Manager – Electrical Infrastructure

An established industry leader in electrical infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. With a strong presence across major infrastructure projects, this company specializes in delivering high-quality electrical design, supply, and construction services. Their portfolio spans road and rail developments, commercial and industrial sites, urban expansions, and airport projects.
 
The Opportunity
 
Due to continued growth and an expanding pipeline of projects, we are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee multiple infrastructure projects. Based in Brisbane, this role offers the chance to manage complex electrical installations while leading a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project schedules, milestones, and overall delivery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure QA, OH&S, and environmental requirements are met across all projects.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management.
• Coordinate resources, labour, and materials in line with project plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Utilize project planning software such as Microsoft Project and Excel.

About You

• Trade-qualified electrical professional with significant project management experience.
• Proven track record managing large commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of 3-phase electrical installations and network/circuitry diagrams.
• Experience with high-voltage or automation/control systems is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to prepare detailed project quotations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive project outcomes and negotiate effectively.
• Business or project management qualifications are desirable but not required.
• Competent in IT and project management software to support efficient project execution.
