As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include…
- Oversee daily production, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Set up and maintain production machinery, resolving minor faults where safe
- Promote safe machinery use and monitor equipment maintenance standards
- Manage machine labelling accuracy for customer and product information
- Deliver staff training, inductions and maintain training records
- Ensure compliance with food safety, PPE, audits, documentation and staffing requirements
We are looking for a Production Manager with the following skills and experience… - Previous management experience within food manufacturing, production or QA
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- HACCP experience preferred, with confidence around production machinery
- Calm, resilient leader able to manage teams and enforce standards
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and record keeping
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise workload and accommodate early starts
In return, the successful Production Manager will receive a salary of £17 - £20 per hour, plus the following benefits… - 31 days holiday including bank holidays
