As a Machine Operative, your roles and responsibilities will include…

• Operating equipment such as, press die cutter, water jet cutter, hand brander, automated die cutter, automated packing line, shrink tunnel, box palletiser and more
• Using pump trucks or powered trucks
• Correct stacking and labelling of products
• Understanding quality standards and safety standards
• Working to the production schedules and making sure production output is met
• Maintaining hygiene standards and completing paperwork as required

We’re looking for a Machine Operative with the following skills and experience…

• Ideally some experience working in manufacturing (paper mill/paper converting or process industry)
• Experience working in a factory environment
• Experience with a die cutter, inspecting, packing etc would be ideal
• High hygiene experience would be ideal – food/pharma industries
• Positive, enthusiastic, driven and proactive personality
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
