We are seeking a confident, intelligent and authentic Business Development Manager to lead growth within the commercial projects sector. This is a true hunter sales role, actively uncovering new opportunities, presenting and influencing design outcomes, and driving results through proactive and tenacious engagement and closing. You will be highly visible in the market, regularly presenting to architects, developers, plumbers and other key stakeholders.
The role requires someone who can build deep knowledge of Plumbline’s product range and technical capabilities and then articulate how solutions fit within each project’s vision. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with architects, specifiers, developers and project managers, contributing to projects such as multi-residential developments, hotels and motels, high-rise apartments, aged-care facilities and group housing.
Another key focus will be managing and progressing the commercial sales pipeline through all stages in our CRM, ensuring a disciplined and strategic approach to opportunity management and forecasting.
This opportunity is best suited to someone who is already well-connected within the group housing, building products, architectural or related industries, ideally coming from a similar role selling into the same customer base. You will bring strong existing relationships, proven industry credibility, and the energy and drive to deliver sustained growth.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will focus on driving new business and strengthening existing partnerships. Success will come from your initiative, commercial acumen and appreciation for great design, supported by a collaborative national team and a premium product range.
