We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer with water infrastructure experience to oversee a construction project on-site. This role is essential in ensuring the successful delivery, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. 

About the Role:
This position is a contract role for a duration of 20 weeks, (8 days on / 6 days off roster for 10 swings). 

Responsibilities include:

• Provide oversight of contracted works on site.
• Ensure installation positions selected are suitable for installation of the structures (including adjustments to structures, falls etc in consultation with Principal Civil Engineer when required). 
• Complete written reports on a weekly basis to projects team with engineering recommendations where required. 
• Review concrete testing and batch results related to QA/QC controls.
• Ensure electrical and instrumentation provisions are made during foundation and civil works stages. 
• Verify foundation materials and conditions are appropriate and structure is suitably founded to prevent upstream or downstream washout, erosion, undercutting, bypass, and settlement.
  

About you: 

• Available to start a rostered 8 days on 6 days off from the 26th May 2025.
• Tertiary qualified Civil Engineer with site experience relating to water infrastructure.
• Knowledge and understanding of design specifications in water and civil infrastructure and construction methodology.
• Understanding of safety protocols, Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
