Wave International is a resource development firm with 25+ years of global experience in engineering, project delivery, project and asset management and provides project strategies and solutions across battery minerals, mineral sands, gold, bulk dry commodities and more.

We are seeking two Senior Electrical Engineers to join our growing team Perth, supporting diverse projects across critical metals, battery minerals, and broader engineering portfolios. 

Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer: 

• Design, implement, and oversee electrical systems for mining, mineral processing, and other industrial projects.
• Perform electrical calculations (load studies, cable sizing, equipment sizing) and prepare specification documentation for electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver efficient, tailored engineering solutions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.

Senior Power Systems Engineer:

• Design and implement power systems and solutions for a range of projects.
• Apply technical expertise to develop and optimise electrical power systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure engineering solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical engineering design, commissioning, and testing within mining or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics and control systems.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, including project management and technical design.
• Proven ability to manage projects from conception to delivery.
