We have an immediate requirement for a Senior/ Lead Electrical Designer to support the Wave International Electrical team in delivering drawings from concept through to final design/ construction. Working across a range of projects, from bespoke electrical projects, study stage to FEED and Project Delivery, to providing Design/ Drafting support across a variety of resources projects in Australia, you will receive ongoing peer support from the Wave team to deliver the works to a high standard.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design, including preparation of reports and development of electrical improvement scopes.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and project teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless integration across disciplines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering technical growth and best practices within the team.
• Deliver high-quality 2D and 3D design outputs, with proficiency in AutoCAD (and other relevant design tools).

Skills & Experience 

• Proven background in electrical design across mineral processing and resources sectors, preferably within consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical/ Instrumentation design practices.
• Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to clearly communicate discipline requirements to project teams and clients.
• Ability to deliver cost-effective, best-practice design and drafting solutions.
