Wave International is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Perth office. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting multiple concurrent projects and is ideally suited to candidates with proven experience in consulting engineering, particularly within the resources and minerals processing sectors. As part of a skilled and supportive team, you’ll collaborate within a proactive, goal-oriented organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems, including conveyors, piping and hydraulics, for various engineering projects.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are delivered efficiently, meeting quality standards and client expectations.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring innovative solutions are implemented.
• Provide technical expertise and support to ensure successful project execution.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Significant experience in mechanical engineering within a mining and process facility setting.
• Strong technical background and demonstrated experience in materials handling and/ or process plant design.
• Strong proficiency in relevant engineering software and design tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex engineering tasks.
