Wave International is a resource development firm with over 25 years of global experience in engineering, project delivery, project and asset management and provides project strategies and solutions across battery minerals, mineral sands, bulk commodities and more. This is an exciting time to be part of Wave International as we continue to expand our scope nationally and internationally, from concept to delivery, including feasibility, commodity, and process studies.

We're currently seeking a Mechanical Designer and a Piping Designer to join our team at the Perth QV1 Office. These positions are available for immediate start, a 10-week contract with potential scope for longer-term involvement which will be communicated during the course of the assignment.

Mechanical Designer: 

• Develop mechanical and mechanical support standard detail drawings.
• Assist in the preparation and development of project specific procedures.
• Strong background in Mining and Minerals processing design.
• Provide technical support to the greater business including project teams.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables in line with the relevant codes and standards, needs of the customer and regulatory authorities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Advance Steel and Navisworks.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate mechanical/piping/pipeline requirements to other members of the project team.

Piping Designer: 

• Develop piping and pipe support standard detail drawings.
• Assist in the preparation and development of project specific procedures.
• Provide technical support to the greater business including project teams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Navisworks. 
• Strong background in Mining, Minerals processing design.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables in line with the relevant codes and standards, needs of the customer and regulatory authorities.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate mechanical/piping/pipeline requirements to other members of the project team.
