We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Brisbane team, contributing to the design and execution of diverse structural projects in the mining resources sector. This role is vital for delivering innovative, high-quality, and compliant engineering solutions, working closely with senior engineers to achieve exceptional project outcomes. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of structural engineering experience, with a strong focus on design execution, and a commitment to achieving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute structural design tasks, ensuring adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop and refine designs.
• Provide technical support throughout the design phase, including calculations, modelling, and documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety requirements and company policies.
• Identify and assist in resolving design challenges and issues.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met.
• Conduct site inspections verify design implementation, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on design execution in mining resources projects.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and methodologies.
• Proven experience in executing design tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Proven onsite experience in mining environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
• RPEQ or working towards registration.
