Our East Coast business unit is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our Brisbane team. In this technical role, you will contribute to a diverse range of projects, driving the design and delivery of innovative engineering solutions. Ideal for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with experience in the mining resources sector, this position offers the opportunity to tackle complex challenges and collaborate with a dynamic, diverse team on high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems, including conveyors, piping and hydraulics, for various engineering projects.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are delivered efficiently, meeting quality standards and client expectations.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring innovative solutions are implemented.
• Provide technical expertise and support to ensure successful project execution.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Significant experience in mechanical engineering within a mining and process facility setting.
• Strong technical background and demonstrated experience in materials handling and/ or process plant design.
• Strong proficiency in relevant engineering software and design tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex engineering tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a consultancy environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
