Our company is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Gladstone Office. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate (0-2 years post-graduation) with a degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic team environment. Our Engineering team works on a variety of projects at different stages, from scoping and design to delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, the successful candidate will:

• Assist in the design, analysis, and optimisation of engineering systems for mining and industrial projects.
• Participate in the design process and drawing management, from concept through to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and standards.
• Support the Quality Assurance process, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and contributing to client-required reporting.
• Aid in the review of P&IDs, PFDs, and related material lists for correctness and accuracy.
• Assist in the interrogation of BOQs and capital estimates to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct spot checks on technical information to verify completeness and ensure correct equipment sizing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Preferably experience (internships or projects) in consultancy, mining, or related project environments.
• Familiarity with design processes, drawing management, and engineering software tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Ability to work under direct supervision while contributing to project deliverables.
• Strong attention to detail.

With a view to commence as soon as possible, the role will be based within our Central Queensland Team with the requirement to engage in site-based visits / works as reasonable.
