Brief Overview of Position:
Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for a Program Analyst role to support a Federal homeland security client that is charged with building critical infrastructure stakeholder capacity, security, and resiliency.
 
Description of Duties:

• Assist in the development and execution of Front Office special projects, many of which may involve acquisition planning and requirements development as well as creative thinking, critical analysis, and coalition building
• Monitor, track, and report on Front Office projects and assignments
• Gather, analyze, compose, and/or edit technical materials, such as reports of research findings; technical articles; news releases; standard operating procedures; guidance documents; and regulations
• Assist in planning and executing workplace improvement initiatives, including assistance with issue definition; editing and/or creating action plans; coordination, seeking and analyzing feedback; and plan management, leadership and execution
• Support the review of policy documents using subject matter expertise and an understanding of DHS, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) policies, which may be used to develop Executive Office directives, orders, strategies; draft legislation; and regulatory initiatives
• Assist in managing Knowledge Management for the Division, including strategic organization of the Division’s SharePoint Site, shared drives, and critical data
• Assist in managing all administrative aspects of the staff awards program to include quality control of and correction of documents
• Assist in the planning and execution of efforts required to hold “all-hands” type meetings including date recommendations, agenda development, justification package development /routing, slide deck organization / review, day-of logistics, etc.
• Review written memos, letters, and briefings for internal and external audiences for grammatical accuracy. Ensure that information is appropriate and in compliance with the Division-specific preferences and policies. Quality control duties include editing documents for grammar, format, and content and ensuring that the Division completely and clearly responds to inquiries and tasks
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel
• Keep informed of the mission, organizational structure, key personnel, current activities, status of current projects, and any issues affecting the organization.

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS HQ suitability required; current preferred
• BA/BS
• 3 to 7 years of relevant professional experience required
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
