SNELLING STAFFING IS SEARCHING FOR A MANUFACTURING MACHINING ENGINEER TECHNICIAN FOR OUR AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER CLIENT IN CLINTON TOWNSHIP.
The Manufacturing Machining Engineer Technician is a Direct Hire role, 1st shift, $75k - $110k depending on experience. The ideal candidate is someone who has worked their way up in a production shop type of environment and understands the processes from the ground up. 
 
Summary
The Manufacturing Machining Engineer Technician supports daily manufacturing operations with a focus on process efficiency/improvement, cost reduction, and quoting new work opportunities. This role involves CNC programming, tooling, prototyping, and process optimization for machining metals and alloys. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
 
Manufacturing Machining Engineer Technician Functions:

• Supports daily operations in providing cost effective solutions

• Develops and supports implementing error proofing in continuous improvement projects using root cause/corrective action tools
• Leads in providing prototypes and pre-series samples on new programs, and supports  in launching of new products during APQP
• Writes, uploads,  and proofs out CNC programs 
• Liaison for tooling and machining suppliers
• Supports in process plans, BOM's, routings, purchasing requisitions, PFMEA, and safety initiatives 
• Follows all safety, environment and quality procedures and instructions.
