ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
ttg Talent Solutions is seeking a Cargo Solutions Sales Representative for a global logistics company with operations across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This hybrid role in Los Angeles focuses on winning new business, expanding customer relationships, and delivering logistics solutions that meet each shipper’s needs.
The company’s services include air and ocean freight, ground transportation, warehousing and distribution, cold chain logistics, and customized cargo solutions. You will work closely with commercial and operations teams to turn customer needs into practical, profitable solutions.
  
WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Identify and develop new customers, build a qualified B2B sales pipeline, and pursue opportunities across targeted industries and markets.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposals, negotiation, closing, implementation, and ongoing account growth.
• Expand existing accounts, reactivate inactive customers, and identify opportunities to combine multiple transportation and logistics services.
• Understand each customer’s transportation and supply chain requirements and recommend solutions that address operational and commercial needs.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations. Partner with Pricing and Procurement to develop competitive offers that support profitability targets.
• Coordinate with Operations to confirm service feasibility and ensure a smooth transition from the sale to account implementation.
• Conduct customer meetings and business reviews; monitor shipment volumes, revenue, profitability, and service performance.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecasts, pipeline reports, account updates, and market insights.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows while following company pricing, contractual, and compliance requirements.

  
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3–5 years of sales or business development experience in freight forwarding, air cargo, transportation, logistics, or supply chain services.
• A demonstrated ability to win new business and manage a B2B sales pipeline from prospecting through close.
• Working knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, trucking, warehousing, and integrated cargo solutions.
• Strong consultative selling, prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with an understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills; comfortable managing multiple opportunities and working toward measurable targets.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to translate customer requirements into practical logistics solutions.

  
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field is preferred; strong relevant experience may substitute.
• Existing industry relationships and experience selling multiple transportation services or customized solutions are preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Primarily office/desk-based work, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
