Accounting Operations Specialist
Location: Fort Lauderdale Area, FL

Description
We are seeking an accounting professional to support core financial processes in a fast-moving and detail-driven environment.
This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting transaction processing, and ensuring alignment between financial data and operational activity.
It’s well-suited for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and being closely involved in the day-to-day flow of accounting information.


Responsibilities and Duties
 

• Support and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Maintain and update general ledger records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor communication
• Perform bank and account reconciliations regularly
• Monitor and validate financial activity related to product flow and cost tracking
• Reconcile internal financial records with external operational data (including third-party providers)
• Assist with intercompany transactions and ensure alignment across entities
• Identify discrepancies and support improvements in accounting processes and workflows

Requirements 
 

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of general ledger and month-end close processes
• Experience working in environments involving cost tracking, product flow, or operational accounting
• Exposure to working with external partners or third-party data is a strong plus
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational and communication skills
