Senior Project Manager

PAY RATE: $160,000 - $170,000 annually

DESCRIPTION:

ttg Talent Solutions is representing a well-capitalized real estate development group seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex multifamily and mixed-use development projects in the Fort Lauderdale market.
This role is ideal for a seasoned development professional with full lifecycle experience on the owner/developer side—not a construction manager—who thrives in a leadership capacity and understands how to move projects from concept through completion with precision, financial discipline, and strategic oversight.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple projects simultaneously and will be responsible for managing pre-development, entitlements, design coordination, permitting, procurement, budgeting, construction oversight, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects through the full development lifecycle, from acquisition and feasibility through construction and closeout
• Manage pre-development activities including due diligence, entitlements, permitting, and consultant coordination
• Oversee architects, engineers, third-party consultants, and general contractors
• Develop, manage, and track project budgets, pro formas, schedules, and cost controls
• Lead GC procurement processes, including bidding, leveling, and contract negotiations
• Review pay applications, change orders, draw packages, and monthly cost reports
• Monitor construction progress, quality control, and schedule adherence
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks proactively
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams including finance, leasing, and asset management
• Ensure compliance with municipal requirements and maintain strong relationships with local agencies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in real estate development
• Proven full lifecycle experience on multifamily or mixed-use development projects
• Strong owner/developer-side experience (not construction management-only background)
• Demonstrated experience managing permitting and entitlement processes
• Verifiable track record of successfully delivering ground-up development projects
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual is a plus
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience
