About the Role
Our client is seeking a hands-on, people-focused Operations Manager to lead warehouse and quality operations at a growing distribution facility in Central Broward County , FL. This is a new, high-impact leadership role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys being close to their team, and is motivated to build, develop, and engage people while driving operational excellence.
This role places a strong emphasis on cultural fit, employee development, and leadership presence on the floor, while also requiring solid analytical skills, business acumen, and data-driven decision-making. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in shaping processes, leading improvement initiatives, and helping the organization scale effectively.
The position will initially lead approximately 60 employees, overseeing Warehouse and Quality Assurance teams, and will work closely with cross-functional partners including Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Finance. This is an on-site position based in Central Broward County

Our client is a Global Manufacturer and Distributor of entertainment industry products for professional use. The company operates across 10 sites in the US, Europe, and Mexico. .
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading warehouse or distribution center operations.
- Proven experience managing teams of 50+ employees, including supervisors and frontline staff.
- Strong people leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and engage teams.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse operations and quality assurance.
- Experience implementing Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, interpret, and act on operational data.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and project leadership skills.
- Experience in the electronics industry is a plus, but not required.
- This role can lead to future advancement within the organization's succession plan within 2-3 years.
Key Responsibilities People Leadership & Culture - Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse and Quality Assurance teams, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a visible, hands-on leader, spending significant time on the warehouse floor supporting teams and supervisors.
- Drive employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Promote a positive, inclusive culture aligned with company values and long-term growth.
Operational Leadership - Oversee daily warehouse and QA operations, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Lead cross-functional operational projects and improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a key decision-maker, balancing operational priorities with business objectives.
Continuous Improvement & Analytics - Lead and support Six Sigma / Lean initiatives, including an upcoming Six Sigma implementation project.
- Use operational data and KPIs to identify trends, diagnose issues, and drive informed decisions.
- Extract, analyze, and translate data into actionable improvements across operations.
- Champion a culture of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Warehouse & Logistics Oversight - Manage all warehouse functions including receiving, inventory control, picking, shipping, and logistics.
- Oversee Quality Assurance processes including inspections, issue resolution, and corrective actions.
- Partner with Sales and Purchasing to manage inventory flow, reduce slow-moving stock, and improve lifecycle planning.
- Utilize WMS, TMS, and ERP systems to support inventory accuracy, shipping performance, and reporting.
Business & Financial Acumen - Manage operating and headcount budgets aligned with company goals.
- Analyze expenses, forecast operational needs, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to support scalable growth and long-term operational planning.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements - Comfortable working full-time in a warehouse environment.
- Regularly required to walk the floor, stand, sit, and operate equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Exposure to moderate noise and bright lighting.
