About the Role
Are you a scientifically driven professional passionate about creating and improving nutraceutical formulations? We're seeking a Sr. Formulation Scientist to join a dynamic Product Development team dedicated to delivering high-quality supplements through innovative R&D practices and operational excellence.
In this role, you'll be pivotal in designing, evaluating, and improving solid dosage formulations. You'll work cross-functionally to support manufacturing, quality, and packaging operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support formulation activities for new product development and existing product improvement.
• Conduct trials, collect data, and analyze results using Information or Quality Management Systems.
• Evaluate and qualify new or alternative raw materials for cost-saving or performance enhancement.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and QA teams to troubleshoot formulation or process issues.
• Ensure SOPs, cGMPs, and food safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Maintain quality standards throughout development and production processes.
• Generate detailed technical reports for internal stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert in formulation during audits and inspections.
• Participate in training team members and cross-functional support initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years in nutraceutical or pharmaceutical formulation, R&D, or equivalent.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong understanding of dosage form development and solid dosage manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in sampling/testing methods and formulation software.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply scientific reasoning.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and workplace safety.
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when needed.
  • Must be comfortable working in lab and production floor environments.
