They are now looking for a capable and enthusiastic Site Manager to join their growing team.

The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of commercial construction projects.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily site operations and coordinating construction activities.
• Leading and supervising subcontractors and site personnel.
• Managing construction programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and health and safety.
• Coordinating materials, resources and subcontractor requirements.
• Identifying and resolving site challenges in a practical and proactive manner.
• Working closely with Project Managers, consultants and clients.
• Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to the required standard.

About You
We are looking for a Site Manager who brings solid commercial construction experience, strong leadership skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or experienced Site Supervisor with a New Zealand main contractor.
• A strong background in commercial building construction.
• Good technical construction knowledge and an understanding of building methodologies.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing construction programmes.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• A strong commitment to health and safety and quality workmanship.
• The confidence to take ownership of site operations and make sound decisions.
• A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work well within a team.
